Planet Pass Manager
If you hold Wanderers, check to see if you were included in the following snapshots:
- Planets (Snapshot 12/20/2021)
- Stardust ($DUST) (Snapshot 2/2/2022)
- Wandernauts (Coming 3/11/2022 — snapshot not occurred yet)
In this article, we will cover how to use Stardust to purchase Renamer tools and manage your planets.
This is Phase 1 of the Planet Pass functionality. Stay tuned on Twitter and Discord over the coming weeks as we add in the full suite of features.
First, be sure to claim your planets and $DUST if you are eligible.

Add $DUST to your wallet
Token information:
Network: Polygon
Token Address: 0x5AB5E0f2eb410ACedB30E365c20572dC8ab4c4a8
Token Symbol: DUST
Token Decimal: 18
Click “Connect My Wallet” and connect. Make sure you are connected on Polygon Mainnet. Planet Pass will attempt to automatically add Polygon Mainnet for you.
Once you connect, you will see “My Planets” on the left side nav:
Here, you can click into any planets that you own.
Click on any planet you own to open a detail page.
We are greeted with an Overview of our planet. From here, you can:
- Share Planet (on Twitter)
- View on OpenSea
- Manage
Click “Manage” to open the Manager tab. Using $DUST, you can purchase Renamer tools to rename your planet
Purchasing a Renamer Tool takes two steps:
- Approving the Renamer Tool purchase
- Purchasing Renamer Tool(s)
For security reasons, you must give your wallet permission to spend Stardust each time.
Note: You may click “Edit Permission” to approve a Custom Spend Limit to skip the approval step in the future, but be aware this has risks associated with it.
Once you approve spending, you will see your Transaction in progress at the bottom of the page:
Once this transaction finishes, you are approved to spend $DUST on Renamers.
Confirm the transaction and you have successfully purchased a Renamer tool!
If done successfully, you will see your “Renamer Owned” count increase and your $DUST count decrease.
Using Renamer Tools to rename Planets
If this is your first time renaming you must approve the Planet Contract to spend your Renamers.
You will only need to do this once.
Once you have approved renaming, you are free to spend Renamer Tools to edit your planet details.
You may have to refresh after the transaction goes through.
Tip: You can add dynamic linking to planets and Wanderers by using “planet[#]” and “wanderer[#]” in your description.
Once you submit your changes, you will see the transaction submit, and your rename take place.
Be patient, this may take a few minutes!
